Greenhead Guide Service is a full-time charter sport fishing and hunting company operating in St.Joachim, Ontario on Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River And Lake Erie. Whether it is trophy Muskie or airborne Smallmouth fishing on world famous Lake St. Clair, or spring jig fishing for some of the largest Lake Erie Walleye, we have a charter to fit your needs.

Greenhead Guide Service operates in three very unique water systems. Lake St.Clair, with its world renowned Muskie fishing and tremendous Smallmouth Bass fishing, and the Detroit River, with its incredible numbers of walleye entering the river from Lake Erie to spawn in early spring (March), remaining until the water warms in late May. Lake Erie (Erieau) offers tremendous Steelhead (rainbow trout) and Walleye fishing in the month of July.

The Detroit river boasts numerous trophy Walleyes in the 8-12 pound range that are taken every spring. This is possible the best time of the year to have the chance at a trophy walleye. Muskie fishing gets underway on the 1st Saturday in June and continues through November, with the two best months being July and August, when the weather is stable and the fishing is hot.

During September and October, the fishing stays great, but Mother Nature does not always cooperate. Weather permitting, this is a great time for trophy fish. Smallmouth Bass season begins the last Saturday in June, with great fishing lasting the entire summer.

Greenhead Guide Service operates a 27-foot Penn-Yann Hunter, known for its seaworthiness and room. Our craft is fully equipped with all the latest electronics, tackle, and safety equipment.

As mentioned, we are a full-time guide service, not one that takes a few charters in the summer to pay for a fishing habit, but a company that truly cares about your charter, because this is our full-time business.
